Naparima College defender, Marvin Waldrop, is most likely set to miss (at least) the next four fixtures after suffering a broken nose in Saturday’s 3-1 victory against St. Benedict’s College.
Waldrop sustained the injury when he attempted to header a low ball, but collided with the boot of a St. Benedict’s player.
The length of his time on the sidelines is unknown, but it may take at least two weeks for him to be able to return to the pitch.
This leaves Naparima College a man short in their defensive ensemble, but paves the way for Asukile Christopher to make his mark on the team.
